Qujing first people's Hospital (Qujing Hospital Affiliated to Kunming Medical University), formerly known as the Qujing branch of Yunnan Huidian hospital, was founded in June, 1938. It is the first western medicine medical institution in eastern Yunnan. For five consecutive years, the hospital was rated as the 'model hospital for improving medical services' by the medical administration and hospital administration of the National Health Commission, and ranked 329 in the latest performance assessment of the three-level public hospitals in the country, an increase of 179 over the previous year.
