At 9:30 a.m. on May 6, Wuming Hospital Affiliated to Guangxi Medical University grandly held the unveiling of class III class a general hospital and the opening ceremony of radiotherapy center, SPECT center and optometry center.
Since it was allocated as a directly affiliated hospital of Guangxi Medical University in 2017, under the strong leadership of the health and Health Commission of the autonomous region and Guangxi Medical University, and with the strong support of the Party committee, government and brother units of Wuming District, the hospital has adhered to the talent strengthening strategy of 'attracting talents from outside and cultivating talents from inside', strengthened the construction of medical, teaching and research platforms, established and improved the modern hospital management system, and significantly improved the comprehensive service capacity of the hospital. Since the establishment of the 'three first-class' project, the hospital has strictly controlled the evaluation standards, continuously strengthened the connotation construction, and made great efforts to improve the service quality of the hospital. The hospital has been successfully approved as a national class III class a general hospital.
Radiotherapy center, SPECT center and optometry Center opened at the same time. The establishment of the 'three centers' of the hospital has further improved the closed-loop system of diagnosis and treatment of the hospital system. The increasingly perfect discipline construction and the growing expert team provide strong support and guarantee for solving various difficult cases, and will greatly improve the medical treatment experience of patients in Wuming and surrounding counties and districts.
After the unveiling and launching ceremony, the hospital held a special academic lecture in the academic hall on the 21st floor of Building 1. At the academic lecture, president Zhu Xiaodong gave a special lecture entitled 'the position of radiotherapy in tumor treatment'; Lu Lijian, director of radiology department, and Wu Wei, director of ophthalmology department, gave special lectures entitled 'clinical application of SPECT / CT' and 'significance of myopia prevention and control'. Through academic lectures, a series of highlights of the hospital's work after the establishment of the 'top three' were displayed, which also provided a good communication platform for the future development of hospital disciplines.
