On the forenoon of covid-19 radiation therapy expert video conference, which was launched by the American proton radiation therapy association (NAPT) on April 9th morning, Professor Wei Wei and Professor Han Guang of the Hubei Cancer Hospital radiotherapy center were invited to share the experience of ensuring the safety of patients undergoing radiotherapy during the new crown pneumonia outbreak.

      More than 50 radiotherapy experts from the United States participated in the online communication. In order to ensure the safety of tumor patients and radiotherapy medical staff, the radiotherapy center has taken a number of protective measures and adjusted the radiotherapy process during the epidemic：

According to statistics, from January 30 to April 8, 249 new radiotherapy patients were admitted to the radiotherapy center of Hubei cancer hospital. On the basis of ensuring that tumor patients do not interrupt radiotherapy, zero infection of tumor patients and medical staff was realized。
