On October 7, the General Office of the National Health Commission issued a notice on the application of Class A large medical equipment configuration license in 2023, clarifying the working process of Class A large medical equipment configuration license application.

According to the 14th Five-Year Plan for large medical equipment deployment, a total of 69 units have been approved in this round, including 31 units of heavy ion proton radiotherapy systems (1 unit in each province, autonomous region and municipality directly under the central government) and 38 units of high-end radiotherapy equipment (2 units each in Beijing, Liaoning, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Henan and Guangdong, and 2 units each in Beijing, Liaoning, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Henan and Guangdong.One from other provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps).

The application period is from October 7 to December 5, 2023.The application was made online through the Information System for Supervision and Management of Large medical Equipment Configuration and Use.The applicant can directly login to http://dxsb.nhc.gov.cn or visit the official website of the National Health Commission, enter the page of 'Government Affairs Hall', click on 'Institutional administrative License Project', select 'Class A large medical equipment configuration License', fill in online and submit to the Government Affairs hall of the National Health Commission.

Medical institutions that have the demand for Class A large medical equipment and meet the deployment conditions are required to report within the specified time.The applicant shall submit the application materials in accordance with relevant regulations.
