The 21st Annual Meeting of the radiotherapy Professional Committee of Qingdao anti cancer association and the Symposium on comprehensive treatment of brain tumors and brain metastases were successfully held in Qingdao hanzhuo Hotel on June 25, 2022.

    The conference was hosted by the radiotherapy Professional Committee of Qingdao anti cancer association. The meeting was held offline. Famous experts from Guangzhou, Shanghai, Shanxi, Sichuan and other places were invited to share special reports.

    Professor zhangzongchun, chairman of radiotherapy special committee of Qingdao anti cancer association, Professor zhangzongchun of Qingdao Central Medical Group, chairman of precision radiotherapy branch of China Society of Biomedical Engineering, Professor kangjingbo, vice president of Jinshazhou Hospital of Guangzhou University of traditional Chinese medicine, chairman of radiation surgery training base of China National Health Association, chairman of radiotherapy branch of Wujieping medical foundation Professor Long Zhixiong, director of Wuhan radiotherapy quality control center and honorary president of Jinshazhou Hospital of Guangzhou University of traditional Chinese medicine, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of the conference.

    At the academic meeting, Professor Long Zhixiong shared his thoughts on tumor stereotactic radiosurgery technology, Professor Kang Jingbo shared the radiotherapy of brain metastases and related issues, Professor panjinshun shared the new progress of glioma radiotherapy, Professor Meng Xiangshui shared the idea of image diagnosis based on brain disease, Professor Wang Weimin shared the multimodal technology of skull base tumor surgery, and Professor zhangzongchun shared the quality control management of modern precision radiotherapy.

    The academic lectures were wonderful and the academic atmosphere was strong. The well-known experts taught you the practical experience of standardized treatment of brain tumors and brain metastases from multiple perspectives. The participants had a heated discussion and benefited a lot. It was a feast. The treatment of brain tumors and brain metastases requires the joint participation of imaging department, surgery department, internal medicine department, radiotherapy department and other disciplines. The quality control of the whole radiotherapy process is particularly important, especially the position and role of image-guided stereotactic radiosurgery in the treatment are becoming increasingly prominent, which further promotes the development of stereotactic radiotherapy, brain tumors and standardized treatment of brain metastases.
