On September 11, 2024, the 2024 Academic Annual meeting of the Chinese Society of Radiation Protection was grandly opened in Dalian. This year coincides with the 10th anniversary of the association as a national society. With the theme of "Ten years of practice and Innovation, radiation protection continues to evolve", many academologists, experts, leaders and representatives were invited to attend.
The annual meeting carries out academic exchanges and discussions in the form of general Assembly reports and branch meeting reports. Luo Qi, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, delivered a video message at the opening ceremony. With the joint efforts of all sectors, the society has increasingly active academic exchanges, wider international cooperation, continuous expansion of scientific and technological services, and increasingly effective popularization of science and technology, and has developed into a dynamic and influential academic organization. We look forward to the society continuing to play the role of a bridge and link. Promote academic exchanges, promote scientific and technological progress! At the opening ceremony, the "2023 Science and Technology Award of the Chinese Society for Radiation Protection" and the "2024 Excellent Branch and Outstanding Worker of the Branch of the Chinese Society for Radiation Protection" were held, fully demonstrating the achievements of the society in science and technology awards.
A number of well-known experts at home and abroad were invited to give the conference reports, and the participants had in-depth exchanges and discussions on the research progress of radiation detection and other topics, so as to promote academic exchanges and cooperation. Ouyang Xiaoping, Liu Shenglin, Jiang Xinghua, Liu Qingjie and many other experts brought wonderful theme reports, covering the research progress of radiation detection, ionizing radiation protection, CGNR radiation management improvement actions, and the current status of medical radiation detection in China.
Two scientific and technological achievements of the society have been identified by scientific and technological achievements, which have made innovative achievements in the research and application of the dosimetric effect of boron neutron capture therapy in accelerators, the small-volume accurate temperature measurement system and its key technologies for the special environment of high temperature radiation.
Ruikangan was fortunate to participate in this academic exchange. We not only absorbed cutting-edge academic knowledge and advanced technical experience, but also realized the great responsibility of radiation protection. In the future, we will integrate the new concepts and technologies learned at the conference into product research and development and service improvement. Continuous optimization of product performance, to ensure that users to provide more safe and reliable radiation protection solutions. We will also actively cooperate with other enterprises and institutions in the industry to jointly promote the progress of radiation protection. To share experience, learn from each other, and jointly meet challenges, so as to contribute to the sustainable development of radiation protection.
