On April 25-27, 2024, the 17th Pan-Pearl River Delta Radiation Oncology Academic Conference, co-hosted by the Pan-Pearl River Delta Radiation Oncology Cooperation Group (PPRA-RTOG) and the Anti-Cancer Association of Guizhou Province, was successfully held at the Guizhou Medical University Affiliated Hospital and Guizhou Medical University Affiliated Cancer Hospital in Guiyang, Guizhou Province.
The Pan-Pearl River Delta Radiotherapy for Cancer Academic Conference is not only a grand gathering for academic exchange in the field of radiotherapy oncology, but also an important platform for showcasing the latest scientific research achievements and deepening industry cooperation. The opening ceremony was attended by former chairman of the Pan-Pearl River Delta Radiotherapy Oncology Cooperation Group, Lu Tai-xiang, chairman of the Pan-Pearl River Delta Radiotherapy Oncology Cooperation Group, Lang Jin-yi, and chairman of the Guizhou Anti-Cancer Association, Lu Bing, among others. The conference features one main venue and six sub-venues, including head and neck cancer, chest cancer, abdomen and pelvic cancer, physical technology, clinical trials, and youth forum.
This conference, based on the achievements of 17 years of clinical collaborative research, showcased academic progress and practical results over the years, and continued to advocate regional collaborative research and standardized application of clinical new technologies, promoting and opening more regional multi-center research projects.
